Parking on City Streets

You no longer need a parking permit! The City of Hometown has made it easier for you to park on city streets!

We extend this courtesy to citizens and visitors of the City of Hometown, IL and ask that you not exceed three times in one calendar year.

Parking on city streets is prohibited between 2:00AM-6:00AM seven days a week and when snowfall exceeds 2" on city streets.

If you need to park on city streets between 2:00am-6:00am or have a guest/visitor that cannot park in your driveway, please call our dispatch center at 708-422-2188 .Soon, you will be able to register your vehicle online by visiting www.hometownpd.com/parking.

Warning! Parking on city streets without notifying the Hometown Police Department may result in tickets and/or your vehicle being towed at your expense. Parking tickets which are not disputed/paid within 10 days are sent to collections and may be reported to all 3 major credit bereaus. In addition, unpaid /undisputed parking tickets may result in suspension of your driving privileges.
